There were series of Thefts / House Break-in in last two weeks especially in Phase 3 and 4. CCTV was tasked to collect footage and data of those thefts and it was found tht same group of 4 boys were breaking in different locked house, two of them were pretending to be Bikia driver’s and use to drop the other two at the location and then use to pick them up after the activity. Complete details were shared in the security group and a Spl team was tasted to trace them comprising of Sec Cdr, CCTV teams and designated MCRs. Today, CCTV Control showing extreme level of vigilance sported the Bike rides dropping the boys at Tulip road for same activity. Complete task force and area riders were put on alert, when they were followed they ran away in two different directions and subsequently, one left the bike at Paradise Mall close to Sawan Nalla and 2 boys ran into Sawan and other left the bike at grill close to Gulraiz Gate and jumped into Gulraiz colony. MSM security chased them in Sawan Nalla and after a lot of efforts where CCTV team continually guided the team of spotting their location from control room caught the Two Thieves. They were then investigated in office at length and they admitted 6 thefts / House break-in and also they were taken to the locations to identify. Residents have been informed to contact lohi Bhair police station for legal proceedings and culprits are being handed over to police after coordination with SHO lohi Bhair and SDPO Rawat by GM Security Services (North) Sqn Ldr (Retd) Imran Gill to ensure proper legal action and recovery of the thefts.
